Inside Line Promotions – McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (Aug. 25, 2015) – Mark Burch Motorsports and Danny Lasoski recorded their best World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series feature result together last week at Junction Motor Speedway.
The duo scored a ninth-place result on Tuesday at the ultra-fast track, which was their first top 10 with the series since September 2013.
“That’s one thing you can rest assured is whenever Mark comes out to race, whether it’s with a 410 or a 360, it’s going to be competitive,” Lasoski said. “We can go anywhere in the country and be competitive. We didn’t get the result we wanted, but it was a good performance.”
The night began with Lasoski qualifying seventh quickest. He then finished second in a heat race to miss locking into the dash by only one spot.
“(Daryn) Pittman just got me on the start,” he said. “The same thing happened in the qualifier. Kraig Kinser beat me on the start, but we got by him at the end.”
Lasoski won a qualifier with a late-race pass to advance into the dash, where he finished eighth to start the main event on the outside of the fourth row.
“The race track was wide open around the top,” he said. “There wasn’t a lot of passing all night. You just held the pedal down and hit your marks.”
Lasoski battled inside the top 10 throughout the feature before ending with a ninth-place finish. It marked the sixth top 10 in eight races this season for Mark Burch Motorsports.
